Former Gov. John Waihee has joined the Dubin Law Offices as senior adviser and counsel to the firm.

Waihee, 62, was governor from 1986 to 1994. He also served as lieutenant governor and was a member of the state House of Representatives.

He received his law degree from the University of Hawai'i in 1976.
