Rainy weather likely to continue through Saturday

An upper-level disturbance will continue over the main Hawaiian Islands through Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.
That will result in the threat of heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms into Saturday with a more normal trade wind weather pattern to follow during the first half of the new work week.

Today: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 80. East wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Tonight: Scattered showers, mainly before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 69. East wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Friday: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 80. Northeast wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Friday night: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 69. East wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Saturday: Scattered showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 80. East wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Saturday night: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 69. East wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Sunday: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 80. East wind around 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
