ASSETS School, an independent school for gifted and dyslexic children in grades K-12, has announced the creation of a $1 million endowment by the Donald C. Brace Foundation.
The endowment will be used to support the school's Donald C. Brace Learning Resource Center, which consists of the library and computer center.
School officials said the resource center has been an essential component of the integrated, multi-sensory curriculum at ASSETS since it was built as part of the current campus in 1992.
The school is located near Hickam Air Force Base.
