Police are searching for two men who allegedly tried to pull a man out of his car and steal it this morning.

The incident was reported at about 3 a.m. on Ke'eaumoku Street near Pho Saigon restaurant.

The driver of the car said two men, one wearing jeans and the other wearing shorts with a short haircut, pulled up next to his car and attempted to pull him out. When they couldn't get the man out of the car, they returned to their gray 1990 Chevrolet pickup and left.

Police are searching the area.
