Rider Levett Bucknall has announced the following employee appointments:

Sloka Colon, Honolulu office cost manager responsible for a range of functions including feasibility studies, cost estimating and control and value engineering.

John Dill, Big Island office project manager responsible for projects on the Hilo side of the island.

Bob Beardslee, Big Island office project engineer responsible for quality control, and reviewing submittals, schedules, change orders, plans and specifications.

HPM BUILDING SUPPLY

Tom Rietow has joined HPM Building Supply as sales manager for lumber and building materials for the O'ahu, Maui and Kaua'i markets. Rietow has 40 years of experience in the building industry.

HPM Building Supply is the eighth largest private employer on the Big Island. Its manufacturing operations include HPM Truss, HPM Custom Metal Roofing, HPM Doors and HPM Wood Protection Co.

Smith Brothers Construction has named Gloria Salem sales manager, responsible for marketing to new clients, community involvement and vendor relations.
