Weather: A few light showers expected today

An out of season weather front running northeast to southwest across the state will dissipate over the next 24 to 36 hours, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Hawaii.
Winds will remain light and variable today, but light to locally moderate trades are expected to return by Wednesday and continue into next week.
An area of showers, which is all that is left of a cold front, moved southward across Kauai during the night and is now over Oahu and Molokai.
The showers are expected to slide south of Oahu in a few hours ending up over Molokai and windward Maui by this afternoon, forecasters said.
There is a slight chance the rain could reach the windward side of the Big Island if the showers last long enough.
