ANAHEIM, Calif. — The Anaheim Ducks signed restricted free agent Corey Perry, their leading goal scorer last season, to a five-year, $26.6 million deal today.

Despite missing part of the season because of a leg injury, the 23-year-old Perry established several career highs, including scoring 29 goals. His 54 points were second on the Ducks, and he tied for second with four game-winning goals.

The Anaheim right wing had two goals and one assist in three playoff games.

He missed the final six weeks of the regular season and the first three games of the playoffs after the tendon above his right knee was lacerated by the skate of Colorado goalie Jose Theodore on March 6.

Perry had six goals and nine assists in the 2007 playoffs to help the Ducks win their first Stanley Cup title.
