NFL: 49ers sign 7th-round draft pick

The San Francisco 49ers announced on their Web site the signing of seventh-round draft choice Larry Grant, a linebacker from Ohio State.
Terms of the contract were not announced.
The 6-foot-1, 235-pound Grant is the second of the 49ers six 2008 draft picks to sign a contract, joining sixth-round pick WR Josh Morgan.
