It's nearly Friday, close enough to start to ease down and get ready for the weekend by heading to the Foster Botanical Garden today for the Twilight Summer Concert Series.

The free event will feature the Satomi Jazz Group as well as Celtic Pipes and Drums of Hawaii Band.

Kick back, take in the scenery and relax: It's Thursday, and the festivities run from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m.

The surf may be a little rough because of the trade winds, but the beaches in Waikiki should be hopping with top surfers today with the forecast calling for 4- to 7-footers for southern shores.
