The blessing for Makiki Community Library has been moved to Saturday at 10 a.m.

The blessing was originally set for tomorrow at the Rediscover Makiki event at Makiki District Park.

Rediscover Makiki festivities will still be held tomorrow night however, including a movie in the park, food vendors, free entertainment and other attractions.

Makiki Community Library has been closed for three years. It is set to reopen at the end of the year.

The Rediscover Makiki event runs from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. tomorrow, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday.

The event is sponsored by the city, Friends of Makiki Library and Hui o Makiki.
