Susan Soon He Stanton's "The Art of Preservation" is in the works for Kumu Kahua Theatre's Dark Night Series, 8 p.m. Saturday and Aug. 2, and 2 p.m. Sunday and Aug. 3. The show revolves around two outsiders in a small town on Kaua'i who have not spoken in years: Desiree (Ginger Gohier), a librarian involved in a secret project that may unlock an old mystery, and Dado (Tyler Tanabe), who breaks into the library basement looking for his ex-girlfriend. Then a storm traps the pair in the basement. É

SMASH MOUTH CONCERT MOVES
SHOW NOW SET FOR ALOHA TOWER
The Smash Mouth and Go Jimmy Go concert set to take place on Aug. 2 has been moved to The Waterfront at Aloha Tower Marketplace. Tickets to see the bands perform at The Waterfront will now be available through the Honolulu Box Office, $45 and $55 VIP pre-sale, and $50 at the door; www.honoluluboxoffice.com; or 550-8457. Go Jimmy Go starts things off at 7 p.m., with Smash Mouth taking over at 7:30.
Those who bought tickets for the Waikiki Shell show can get refunds at points of purchase.
Smash Mouth is best known for hits "Walkin' on the Sun," "All Star" and "I'm a Believer," featured in the film "Shrek."
