The nonprofit Maunalua Fishpond Heritage Center is asking for the community's help in compiling historic photographs of the fishponds that once lined Maunalua Bay.

The organization, which helps preserve and restore fishponds in East Honolulu, hopes to use the photographs for educational programs and display them on a future Web site.
