By Robbie Dingeman

That little hotel your cousin loved? The healthy plate-lunch place that serves yummy jerk chicken? The Italian place where everything tastes canned? Zagat wants you to tell all.
From now until Aug. 31, Zagat's survey of Hawai'i restaurants, nightlife, shopping and attractions is live on zagat.com.
The company has surveyed hotels in Hawai'i since 1990 as part of its America's Top Hotels Resorts and Spas guide and has surveyed restaurants in Honolulu since 1990 as part of the America's Top Restaurants guide.
Those who cast their online votes will receive a free copy of the Zagat's 2009 Hawai'i guide when it is published.
Zagat published a Hawai'i guide from 1992-2000 that included restaurants and hotels from the Big Island, O'ahu, Maui, Lana'i, Kaua'i and Moloka'i.
The survey will cover properties on O'ahu, Maui, the Big Island, Kaua'i, Lana'i and Moloka'i. Surveyors are asked to review each property based on varying appeal, cost, value and service categories.
After logging on, surveyors can submit feedback at their convenience, save reviews to complete later and even revise votes if their opinions change. Zagat's current surveys can be found at: www .zagat.com/survey.
The company boasts that its guides are based on "the collective opinions of more than 300,000 savvy surveyors worldwide."
The survey results are compiled into guidebooks and available on the Web to subscribers for a fee.
