Hirai named VP at Stryker Weiner & Yokota

Stryker Weiner & Yokota Public Relations, Inc. has promoted Dawn Hirai to vice president where she will oversee the firm's newly established Public and Government Affairs Division.
Hirai joined the company in 2004 and was most recently an account supervisor for its Corporate and Public Affairs Division. Hirai has more than a decade of experience in Hawai'i state government having previously worked as a senior advisor to the vice speaker of the House of Representatives, as well as a special assistant to former Gov. Benjamin Cayetano for eight years.
The new division will provide strategic counsel and develop integrated public relations and communications strategies for clients who face issues that have regulatory and governmental needs.
Hirai's clients will include: the James Campbell Company, Hawai'i Tourism Authority, NCL America, Kukui'ula Development Company, and Engineers Surveyors Hawai'i.
