Trial period for new bus route starts today

Starting today, TheBus will add a new route, the "1L" bus stop on Waialae Avenue at St. Louis Drive for a three-month trial period.

It will be for the westbound direction only.

A new bus stop sign will be installed with route numbers 1, 1L, and 9 reflecting this change.

There will not be a Route 1L bus stop established in the eastbound direction.
