Pre-sale scrip for the second annual Flavors of Honolulu foodie event June 27 through 29 at the Frank F. Fasi Civic Center on the grounds of Honolulu Hale are available now through Friday online or via mail.

With each packet of 20 scrip, the buyer will receive one $5 general admission for entry onto the grounds.

Flavors of Honolulu, which continues the tradition of the earlier Taste of Honolulu, is the major fundraising event benefiting Abilities Unlimited, which is marking its 25th anniversary this year in its work of helping people here with disabilities lead productive lives. Its Web site, www.abilitiesunlimitedhi.org, has an online order form.

Details of participating restaurants will be forthcoming and will be posted at www.flavorsofhonolulu.org. A roster of performers also will be announced.

Meanwhile, Flavors also offers free admission for anyone born in 1983 (ID required) or married in 1983 (proof required) in the spirit of the organization's 25th anniversary.

Flavors hours will be from 5 to 10 p.m. June 27, noon to 10 p.m. June 28, and noon to 6 p.m. June 29.

Tickets: $5 general, $2.50 seniors (65 and older) and military (free on Sunday, Military Appreciation Day) and free for children 12 and under.

Pre-sale scrip, ordered online, may be picked up on site, with confirmation letter to be sent to buyer. If mailing, orders should be sent to Abilities Unlimited, 414 Kuwili St., Suite 203, Honolulu HI 96827, or faxed to 532-2108.
