A man and woman arrested by police last night in Waimanalo on suspicion of armed robbery were still at the main police station cellblock today at 5 p.m. but uncharged.

The pair were arrested at 8:54 p.m. at Flamingo Street and Kalaniana'ole Highway on a complaint filed by four boys, ages 15-17, who told police they were robbed in Kailua. The boys said the male suspect claimed to be a police officer and displayed the butt of a pistol tucked in his waistband.
