The Christmas Wish Program is busy this month sponsoring an educational summer camp for homeless children on the Big Island, and is seeking donations from the public.

Christmas Wish is best known for providing gifts for homeless children during the holiday season, but has also organized a summer camp that includes a reading program, art workshops, archery, nutrition and life skills planning, science projects and sports activities.

The camp is free for the children, and is staffed with volunteers. Sponsors are being sought to help the organization cover camp rental fees, T-shirts and other expenses, and to sponsor children.
