Passengers aboard missing Big Island plane identified

KAILUA, KONA, Hawai'i — Officials have identified the two passengers who were aboard a tour plane that went missing Tuesday over the Big Island as Nobuhiro and Masako Suzuki.
The Suzukis are from the Chiba prefecture in Japan. The pilot has been identified as Katsuhiro Takashi.
An extensive aerial and ground search for their missing tour plane on the Big Island continues with crews focusing south of Kilauea volcano.
So far, there's been no signs of the single-engine Cessna, which disappeared Tuesday.
The missing aircraft, operated by Island Hoppers, departed from Kona International Airport on Tuesday at 10:25 a.m. for a three-hour tour, but failed to return.
