Baseball: Schilling says season over, will have surgery

BOSTON — Curt Schilling says he's out for the season.
The Red Sox right-hander said Friday on radio station WEEI that he will have surgery Monday on his injured shoulder.
When asked whether that will end his season, he said "Yes."
