A lane on Kamehameha Highway between Ka'a'awa and Waiahole Valley Road will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. today for construction.

The southbound lane of the two-lane highway will be closed to install drainage grates and pipes.

Traffic will be contra-flowed through the work site.

Motorists should allow for extra travel time and use caution in the are. Work will be done as weather permits.
