SAINT-QUENTIN-EN-YVELINES, France — Spanish rookie Pablo Larrazabal won the French Open for his first European Tour victory Sunday, closing with a 4-under-par 67 to finish four strokes ahead of Colin Montgomerie.

Larrazabal, who had to qualify for this event, completed his four rounds in 15-under 269. Montgomerie shot a 68 and ended one stroke in front of Soren Hansen.
