"Waitress" (2007), 5 p.m., Cinemax. Here's a wonderfully charming and funny independent film, with Kerry Russell.
"Jack and the Beanstalk: The Real Story" (2001), 6 p.m., Ion. Some people hated this miniseries, but we found it to be fresh and richly crafted. The great cast includes Vanessa Redgrave, Richard Attenborough and Daryl Hannah.

"Million Dollar Password," 7 p.m., CBS. Country singer Sara Evans faces Steve Schirripa, who was Bobby Baccalieri on "The Sopranos."
