EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — The Minnesota Vikings reached an agreement on a six-year contract today with wide receiver Bernard Berrian, who had a career year with the Chicago Bears last season.
Berrian spent today at Winter Park, and the Vikings made sure he didn't leave to visit another team.
He had a career-high 71 catches for 951 yards and five touchdowns for Chicago in his fourth season in the NFL.
Minnesota also signed free agent fullback Thomas Tapeh, who played in college at Minnesota.
