NFL: Briggs agrees to 6-year deal with Bears

CHICAGO — Free-agent linebacker Lance Briggs has re-signed with the Chicago Bears, agreeing to a six-year deal.
The Bears did not disclose financial terms of the deal, but the Chicago Sun-Times and Chicago Tribune both reported today that Briggs would receive $36 million.
The two-time Pro Bowl player became an unrestricted free agent Friday.
