Boise State holds off UH men's basketball team, 78-71

Boise State held off numerous University of Hawaii rallies to pull out a 78-71 men's basketball victory tonight at Stan Sheriff Center.
Boise State is 22-7 and 12-3 in the Western Athletic Conference. Hawaii, which sent off seven seniors who were playing their final home game, is 11-16 and 7-7.
Hawaii trailed by 14 in the first half before closing to 36-30 at halftime. The Rainbows trailed by 18 in the second half but closed to four on numerous occasions.
Seniors Riley Luetgerodt (20 points, 5 assists) and Matt Gibson (17) led the way for the Rainbows.
