Ochoa takes 8-stroke lead into final round at Singapore

SINGAPORE — Lorena Ochoa had five birdies for a 3-under-par 69 today to extend her lead in the HSBC Women's Champions to eight strokes going into the final round.
Ochoa, an eight-time winner in 2007, is at 16-under 200.
Paula Creamer and Annika Sorenstam, who both shot 70s, were at 8 under. Karrie Webb was 7 under.
Sorenstam, who won the SBS Open at Turtle Bay two weeks ago, had five birdies but had a bogey and a double bogey. Creamer won last week's Fields Open in Hawai'i.
Webb had four birdies and two bogeys and also shot 70.
Laura Diaz was at 5 under after a 70 that included four birdies and two bogeys.
Shin Ji-yai (70), Kim In-kyung (74) and Stacy Prammanasudh (73) were tied at 4 under.
Morgan Pressel (73), Pat Hurst (73), Angela Stanford (72), and Birdie Kim (71) were at 2 under.
