Police today opened a second-degree-assault investigation into injuries suffered by 3-month-old child.

A Moanalua-area hospital notified police at 3:20 a.m. that an infant boy had a suspicious bone fracture. The injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, and police have made no arrests.
