Single lane closures will occur along Fort Weaver Road in both directions between A'awa Drive and Laulaunui Street through Friday.

Intermittent single lane closures will take place in the southbound direction between Laulaunui and the Honouliuli Stream Bridge from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for traffic signal conduit and irrigation line installations.

There will also be intermittent closure of the right lane northbound from A'awa to the bridge from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for drainage system construction.

Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the work area and to allow for extra travel time. Roadwork is weather-permitting.

The work is part of the Fort Weaver road-widening project. Fort Weaver will go from four lanes to six and is expected to be done in mid-2009.
