Niu Valley Middle School will be collecting HI-5¢ recyclable aluminum cans and plastic and glass bottles on Friday to contribute toward protecting the environment.

Parents and students will accept HI-5¢ recyclable donations during the morning drop-off period from 7:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the school, located at 310 Halema'uma'u St.

Money raised will benefit the school's parent group, The Friends of Niu Valley. For more information, call 728-4934.
