Honolulu's Tadd Fujikawa struggled to an 8-over-par 80 Sunday in the final round of the Munsingwear Open KSB Cup at Tojigaoka Marine Hills Golf Club in Okayama, Japan.

The 17-year-old Moanalua High junior tied for 65th place (out of 67 golfers) at 5-over 293 at the Japan Golf Tour Organization tournament.

Hideto Tanihara closed with a 1-over-par 73 to win the tournament, finishing at 18 under (270). Tanihara finished three shots ahead of Katsunori Kuwabara, Shingo Katayama and Nobuhito Sato.

Fujikawa's round Sunday included a quadruple-bogey 7 on No. 7.

Starting on the back nine, Fujikawa had bogeys on the Nos. 15, 17 and 18 to make the turn at 3 over. After a birdie on the par-3 No. 3, he bogeyed the par-4 No. 6. The quadruple bogey on No. 7 put him at 7 over for the round. Fujikawa also bogeyed his final hole, the par-4 9th.

Fujikawa began the round tied for 39th at 3-under-par 213, 13 strokes behind the leader.

On Friday, Fujikawa made his third cut since turning pro last year and his second in a JGTO event.
