The Kailua Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for participants in its annual Fourth of July parade.

All types of groups are welcome, including nonprofit organizations, businesses, community groups, political campaigns, marching bands and horse units.

This will be the 62nd year of the parade and its theme is Hau'oli La Hanau (Happy Birthday) America!

The parade takes place in the morning. The annual fireworks display will be in Kailua Bay that evening. The fireworks are sponsored by Clear Channel Radio and several local businesses.
