The Milwaukee Brewers will bring back Mike Cameron next season after picking up the Gold-Glove center fielder's contract option.
Cameron, who was suspended for the first 25 games of the 2008 season for testing positive for a banned stimulant, hit .243 with 25 home runs for Milwaukee.
The Brewers will exercise a $10 million option instead of buying Cameron out for $750,000, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported on its Web site.
Milwaukee signed Cameron to a one-year deal worth $6.22 million in January, less than three months after Major League Baseball issued the suspension.
Cameron, 35, has played for six teams over his 14-year career with a lifetime average of .250. He has won three Gold Glove awards for defense, the last in 2006.
