Hawai'i's children voted overwhelmingly for Barack Obama.

Results released by the Kids Voting Hawaii 2008 organization showed that 77 percent of the 119,756 children and teens who participated cast their ballots for the Hawai'i-born Democrat.

John McCain got 18 percent of the vote, with the rest split among third-party candidates.
