Mini reviews of new movies from a family perspective
'SAW V'
Rating: R for sequences of grisly, bloody violence and torture.
What it's about: Cops and a new crew of kidnap victims try to unravel the mystery of the mysterious, murderous and self-righteous "mutilate yourself or die" villain, Jigsaw.
The kid attractor factor: Visceral horror.
Good lessons/bad lessons: You can't live your life looking out only for yourself.
 Violence: Not quite constant.
Language: Not as much profanity as you'd expect.
 Sex: Not a bit.
 Drugs: None.
Parents' advisory: Beware when your teen says, "Me and the gang wanna see some torture porn."
'ZACH AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO'
Rating: R for vile language, including sexual references, brief nudity and drug content.
What it's about: The title is truth in advertising.
Good lessons/bad lessons: Sex between friends changes everything.
 Violence: None.
Language: Lots and lots of profanity.
Sex: As graphic as an R will allow. And then some.
 Drugs: Pot.
Parents' advisory: Don't let your kids fool you with the TV-commercial title, "Zack and Miri." "Sophomoric" can mean "if they're not sophomores, they're too young to see this trash."
