CFB: Decker's ankle will keep him out vs. Badgers
The Associated Press
MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota wide receiver Eric Decker will not play Saturday against Wisconsin because of an ankle injury.
Decker was selected Tuesday as one of 10 finalists for the Biletnikoff Award, given annually to the nation's top receiver.
He leads the Big Ten with 74 catches, but got hurt on Nov. 1 against Northwestern and barely played last Saturday against Michigan.
Coach Tim Brewester said he hopes the junior will be ready to play on Nov. 22 against Iowa.
The Gophers will get wide receiver Ralph Spry back to play the Badgers. He sat out the last three games for violating team rules.
