TAKE TUNNEL TOURS FOR SHELTER ANIMALS
World War II buffs and animal lovers will join up Saturday when the Hawaii Animal Sanctuary hosts a guided and narrated tour of the WWII gunnery tunnels on 'Ili'aina Street in Kailua, off Kane'ohe Bay Drive near the 'Aikahi Fire Station; donation of $5 per person requested. Also planned is a white-elephant sale. Proceeds purchase food, medicine, veterinary care and other supplies for shelter animals.
