"Going Green" is the theme of the 18th annual Leeward Community College Fun Fair, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today on the Pearl City campus.

There's drive-through, drop-off recycling of cans, bottles, printer cartridges, cell phones, laptops, household goods and clothing. A new-car show highlights energy-efficient models. A Local Food Market offers organic produce, baked goods and seasonings.

The Discovery Square of more than 30 hands-on activities includes the ever-popular "CSI: Leeward," above, a mock crime-scene activity. There's food, entertainment, arts and crafts and carnival games, too.
