Hawaii surfers can look forward to north swell
Advertiser Staff
A reinforcing moderate-sized short-period north swell arriving today will gradually shift to the north-northeast during the day Monday, the National Weather Service said.
Surf will be 7 feet to 10 feet along northern shores today and 3 feet to 5 feet along west and east shores. Surf along southern shores will be 1 foot to 3 feet.
As today's swell builds it will bring surf along east-facing shores to near advisory levels of 8 feet on Monday before tapering off Tuesday.
