Rain washed out today's second round of the Prince Resorts Hawai'i/Taylormade Hawai'i State Open at Hawai'i Prince Golf Club.

All 120 players will go out in a shotgun format tomorrow, at 9 a.m., weather permitting. They will be paired by score. If that final round cannot be played, Friday's 18-hole scores will stand as the final results.

Hilo professional Jarett Hamamoto opened with a 6-under-par 66 Friday and has a two-shot lead over Olomana pro Norman-Ganin Asao and Hawai'i Prince pro Kalani Kia'aina in the Championship Flight. Three years ago, Hamamoto became the first amateur to win the State Open since Wendell Tom in 1982.

Punahou junior Bradley Shigezawa is tied for fourth at 69 with Garrett Okamura, a pro at Dunes at Maui Lani. Shigezawa is trying to defend his amateur title from last year, when he finished fourth overall.

Two-time champion Tom Eubank is four shots back and defending champion Dean Wilson, a PGA Tour pro, five shots back.

Punahou sophomore Cyd Okino, who has won the last two women's titles, shares first with 11-year-old Allisen Corpuz. Both opened with 72's. Leland Lindsay leads the Senior Flight at 67, two shots better than Casey Nakama and Lance Taketa, with Champions Tour pro Dave Eichelberger another shot back.

Thursday's Pro-Am raised $15,000 for the Hawai'i State Junior Golf Association and Aloha Section PGA Foundation.
