UH Law School receives $100,000 donation
HONOLULU— William S. Richardson, for whom the William S. Richardson School of Law at UH Manoa is named and a former Hawai'i Supreme Court chief justice, accepted a check for $100,000 to the school on Nov. 20.
The money was a gift from Starn O'Toole Marcus & Fisher, a Hawai'i law firm.
The donation will establish the Starn O'Toole Marcus & Fisher Fund for Excellence, which will provide scholarships for law students and sponsorship of the nationally-honored moot court program. The money will also be used to support a continuing lecture series in real estate law, and other programs that support legal education.
