Novant has more than 1,000 physicians that work at its nine hospitals, two nursing homes and 337 clinic locations. TeamPraxis said the doctors will use the Clinical Quality Solution to automate quality reporting requirements of federal pay-for-performance programs and to access information that will help improve the quality of patient care.

TeamPraxis said it anticipates that other medical groups on the Mainland will select the product. TeamPraxis recently partnered with Allscripts to integrate the Clinical Quality Solution into its electronic health record and practice management systems.

NEW BRANDING FOR ALOHA PETROLEUM

Aloha Petroleum is looking at a new logo and brand identity for its convenience stores as it turns to a Mainland creative agency that specializes in retail design, branding and corporate identity development.

CBX, an agency with offices in New York, Minneapolis and San Francisco, last week said it has been selected by Aloha Petroleum to design a new 3,400 square-foot convenience store prototype for Aloha, which has more than 30 company operated Island Mini-Mart stores in Hawai'i.

CBX's work is to include exterior and interior design, store layout as well as graphics that will reinforce Aloha's local presence and price.

"The company wants to position its convenience operation as the c-store brand of choice in its O'ahu and Big Island markets," said Joseph Bona, president of the CBX retail division.

"Although the existing Island Mini-Marts do well, Aloha believes the timing is right to position its c-stores with a futuristic design, while maintaining the authentic Hawaiian feel."
