A car at the bottom of a 120-foot cliff in Hakalau found by a fisherman belongs to missing Hilo woman Marlo Moku.

The four-door sedan, with extensive damage, was hoisted up from the Hilo side of the old mill site by a helicopter owned by a Maui company today. Yesterday, firefighters rappelled down the cliff, but hazardous wave conditions in the area kept them from getting too close. Police combed the area with canines trained in both live person and cadaver scent capabilities.

The 1995 Chevy Corsica was found empty.

The 33-year-old Moku was last seen Sept. 23 at a convenience store in the lower Kaumana Drive area. She is described as part-Hawaiian, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and about 180 pounds. Moku has a mole on her upper left cheek and another one on her lower right cheek. She has the word "Sassy" tattooed on the inside of one of her ankles in pink letters. Moku suffers from a medical condition that requires periodic medication.
