Hawaiian Airlines is adding four extra flights to its regularly scheduled service between Honolulu and American Samoa during the upcoming holiday season.
On Dec. 19, 23 and 30 and again on Jan. 2 a Hawaiian flight will leave Honolulu for Pago Pago and return to Hawai'i the following morning.
The flights are in addition to the twice-weekly service that Hawaiian provides between Honolulu and Pago Pago on Sundays and Thursdays.
Airlines spokesman Keoni Wagner says Hawaiian is providing the extra flights to accommodate anticipated higher demand during the holidays.
