Alison Brown and Joe Craven give free concert at Salt Lake Library today

Banjo virtuoso Alison Brown, a Grammy Award winner, and multi-instrumentalist/singerJoe Craven team up for a free concert at the Salt Lake-Moanalua Public Library at 5:30 p.m. today.
Brown played with Alison Krauss and Union Station from 1989 to 1991, and won a Grammy in 1991. Craven performed with the David Grisman Quintet for more than 15 years as violinist and percussionist.

Brown and Craven also perform at the Paliku Theatre, Windward Community College, at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow; tickets are $15 to $25 in advance at www.etickethawaii.com, 944-2697, or UH Ticket outlets. Tickets are $20 and $30 at the door on Friday.
