You can all scream for ice cream at the Honolulu Academy of Arts tomorrow during Bank of Hawaii's Family Sunday, where Meadow Gold and Lani Moo will be handing out samples.

The free monthly event has been moved forward a week, but the essentials are the same: free admission to the galleries, art-centric keiki activities, scavenger hunts and live music.

This month's theme is unity. Participants can help make unity rings by re-creating the Olympic Games symbols with their hands, watch the Aloha Knitters show off skills (including crochet), make mini flower pencil pots and help architects create landmark buildings out of cardboard for a scale model of the Washington, D.C., Capitol District.

The event lasts from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the Pavilion Cafe will be offering new takeout lunches instead of the usual sit-down menu, so families have the option of eating in the courtyard for a picnic.
