The Kaua'i Island Utility Cooperative will hold a public information meeting about its proposed rate increase from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Kaua'i War Memorial Convention Hall.

The electrical utility has filed a notice of intent to apply for a general rate increase with the Hawai'i Public Utility Commission. The specific rate increase sought has not been determined yet.
