MLB: Braves call up LHP Reyes to make start

PITTSBURGH — The Atlanta Braves have called up left-hander pitcher Jo-Jo Reyes from Triple-A Gwinnett to start Saturday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
He will start in place of veteran left-hander Tom Glavine, who was scheduled to make his first appearance of the season but remains on the disabled list with a sore left shoulder.
To make room for Reyes, right-handed reliever Blaine Boyer was designated for assignment.
Reyes went 3-11 with a 5.81 ERA and made 22 starts for Atlanta last season. The 24-year-old is 5-13 with a 5.94 ERA in 34 appearances over two major league seasons.
Boyer appeared in three games this season and went 0-1 with a 40.50 ERA, allowing six runs in 1 1-3 innings.
