Running: Kenya's Victor Kigen wins Belgrade Marathon

BELGRADE, Serbia — Victor Kiplagat Kigen has won his first marathon, leading Kenyan runners to another sweep of the podium at the Belgrade Marathon.
Former steeplechaser Kigen finished in 2 hours, 13 minutes, 28 seconds on Saturday. Sylvester Kipyego was second in 2:14.25, while Julius Kiplagat Korir was third with a time of 2:14.28.
Anne Ajepkemboi Kosgei of Kenya won the women's race, finishing in 2:34:51. Rasa Drazdauskaite of Lithuania was second in 2:34:59 and Maria Ruiz of Spain took third.
Kenyan male runners won the first three spots at last year's Belgrade Marathon.
