SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Arnold Schwarzenegger might be back as the Terminator after all, despite his day job as California governor.

Schwarzenegger confirmed in a webcast interview that previous film of him might appear in next month's "Terminator: Salvation," the fourth movie in the franchise about a showdown between humanity and machines.

The governor says he had no time to shoot new footage but that the filmmakers are playing with technology to insert his image from the earlier "Terminator" movies.

Schwarzenegger says he told director McG he will come to the premiere of the movie, which stars Christian Bale as the leader of the human resistance against machine conquerors.

ELTON JOHN SAYS GOODBYE TO LAS VEGAS

The Rocket Man is saying farewell to the Las Vegas Strip after five years and 241 shows.

Elton John's last show was slated for yesterday at Caesars Palace. He's scheduled to embark May 2 on a tour of the United States, Canada and Europe.

John initially signed on for 75 shows over three years beginning in February 2004, then kept on going.

REGIS AND 'MILLIONAIRE' RETURN AUG. 9

ABC is reviving "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" this summer, complete with host Regis Philbin.

A decade after the quiz show became a smash hit, it will return to prime time Aug. 9 to 23 as an 11-night event.

The show burst on the U.S. scene in August 1999. Philbin coined an instant catchphrase by asking his contestants, "Is that your final answer?"

A syndicated daytime version has aired since 2002, with Meredith Vieira as host.

AYKROYD AIDS NEW ORLEANS REBUILDING

Add "Saturday Night Live" alumnus Dan Aykroyd's name to the list of celebrities helping New Orleans rebuild neighborhoods devastated by Hurricane Katrina.

The actor yesterday toured an area where developers plan to build homes for police officers, firefighters and other "first responders" on 21 storm-battered properties in the Gentilly neighborhood. Aykroyd has lent his time and money to the Blue Line Foundation, one of the project's developers.

Katrina hit in August 2005, breaching the New Orleans levees and devastating much of the city.
